A story built on passion and hospitality
People ask me how long I've been doing this job. I always answer that I was already grown up: I was 11 years old.
Since then, years of hands-on experience and a passion for hospitality have gone by. At 22, my first venue arrived, Picchio Rosso, which made history in Gravina.
Then I decided to go further and take on a new challenge: Giardino dei Gelsi.
Originally born as the summer venue of Picchio Rosso, Giardino dei Gelsi built its own identity over time. Until 2024, when a clear choice was made: to dedicate ourselves exclusively to events.
Today we have one focus only: your event.
In 2024 we completely renovated the venue, from the spaces to the furnishings, from the colors to the kitchen, bringing in a top-level chef.
Three dedicated spaces, an area reserved for your guests, and a fully customizable menu: from appetizer to dessert.
One thing, however, has stayed the same: I, Michele, am always here to welcome you.

Every setting at Giardino dei Gelsi has been designed to offer a smooth, harmonious experience, accompanying guests from the welcome toast all the way to the final celebration.
THE INDOOR HALL
A refined, bright and welcoming space, featuring neutral tones and furnishings renewed with tailored care. Ideal for intimate receptions or large banquets in any season, it offers your guests the perfect blend of warmth and aesthetic refinement.
THE TERRACE
The timeless charm of the stone porch and covered outdoor spaces. A prime gathering spot for welcome aperitifs, sunset cocktails and charming summer dinners sheltered from the evening breeze, with an open view over the lush surrounding nature.
THE GARDEN PATIO
The botanical heart of the venue: an open space immersed in lush greenery among centuries-old mulberry trees, Mediterranean scents and attention to detail. Here the reception breathes in unison with nature, creating an enchanting setting for the cake-cutting and the most emotional moments.

We do not use outside catering.
Our chefs prepare every dish on-site, ensuring freshness, quality and the ability to customize the menu according to our guests' wishes.
